Keith R Scribner and his father Sergeant Eugene Francis Scribner, descended from the Scribner’s of ScribnerFamilies.org, one of the largest family comprehensive genealogical compilations, a major project of the Scribner Family Association, a non profit organization dedicated to discovering and preserving the Scribner Family History, specifically of the American descendants of Lord Sir Thomas Scriven of Shropshire England, also known as knight colonel of one regiment of foote of the trained bands of the county of Salop, and governor of Whytchurch, and his son John Scribner of Dover New Hampshire, who arrived in the American colonies, estimated around 1645, by way of Barbados. Lord Sir Thomas Scriven was knighted September 29th 1642 by King Charles l, after Sir Scriven distinguished himself during the English Civil War.

Because the records in the church and state were recorded in detail, his family records go back nearly a 1000 years. From these records, a nine volume CD was produced to show the Scribner history including Frodesley Manor in Shropshire England, a feudal manorial estate dating back to the Norman Conquest of England in 1066, the Scribner family and their descendants lived at for over 250 years. Ruins of their family castles are still around today.
